An amateur format using "Cellofilm" as a base. Cellofilm is a trade name for ozaphane, a non-flammable safety film with light sensitive dye incorporated into a cellophane base rather than coated on as an emulsion. It was developed by Ernest Louis Victor Rebillon and René Adam, two teachers who were interested in film suitable for the classroom. The projector was possibly unique in that it had the two reels mounted vertically on either side of the gate rather than above and below.
