First disc record. The first commercial release of Berliner's disc records was through Kämmer, Reinhardt & Co., a German toy manufacturer. They consisted of nursery rhymes and popular songs. Many of these records are recordings of Emile Berliner himself.

The stamped catalog number of 30, in addition to the original inscribed catalog number of 40 (barely visible to the lower right of the spindle hole), indicates a 1891-92 reprint.
