The MV60 is small and simple and the cassette is robust and easy to load and unload, making it ideal for use in the field. Compare, for example, to the equally small, but more complex Minifon P55. It was used by journalists for interviews. The cassette can be easily removed by turning the gold-colored latch on the top and lifting. It has a capacity of 60 min. The recorder takes two 1.5 v. batteries.
