The illustration from Kodak on the left was printed photographically on celluloid. The local information on the right was lettered by hand, then printed photographically on a separate piece of celluloid. Both were then mounted between two glass plates. The Kodak Girl in the blue-striped dress was a staple of Kodak advertising in Europe in the 1920s and beyond (KodakGirl Collection 2025). Bamforth, Chemist was at that address in Liverpool in 1928, according to a contemporary advertisement (see below).
