L'Après l'École was a French magazine providing educational transparencies in the form of glassine sheets that could be cut up and mounted for projection.
"To use the views, they are cut out and placed between two glasses of an old view, joined on one side by a strip of gummed canvas and forming a booklet [i.e., a view-holder that can be opened and closed like a booklet]. Two view-holders are enough to show an indefinite number of views." Le Temps des Instituteurs.
