Designed for home movies. The camera took a cartridge loaded with cellulose nitrate film. The cartridge was sent back to the company where it was developed, printed on cellulose acetate safety film and returned in the cartridge, which could be loaded into the projector. Cellulose nitrate was considered safe enough for amateur cameras since no light source was involved.
