Shortly after the 20 in. Concert disc, which because it spun at 120 rpm didn't hold any more music than a standard disc, Pathé came out with the 20 in. Theatre disc, which spun at 60 rpm. The Theatre disc lasted twice as long, but had lower quality audio. It was intended for spoken theater and operas.
