Slightly smaller than the 3½ in. diameter of the Pathé Salon cylinder. Similar idea to the Busy Bee cylinder, which had a slightly smaller diameter than standard 2¼ in. cylinders. The idea was to prevent the possibly unwitting buyer from playing it on a competitor's machine.
