Slightly smaller diameter than the 3½ in. Pathé Salon cylinder. Once you bought the Excelsior machine, you could only play cylinders manufactured by Excelsior (the same scheme adopted by O'Neill-James Co. for the Busy Bee record). The machines and cylinders were sold by G. Maleville (Rondeau 2025). Sales were mostly mail order (Caruana-Dingli 2022).
