Coated paper disc, like the Mail-A-Voice. Brush abandoned disks in favor of developing tape recorders shortly after licensing their disk technology to Thermionic. The Recordon was more robust than the Mail-A-Voice, which made it suitable for dictation in office environments. In addition to being mailable, the thin paper discs could be filed in standard file folders.
