A viewer for Stereo-Realist-sized stereo slides held in a 60 slide interchangeable drum. It was targeted at sales and training uses, as well as personal use. It could be held in the hands or mounted on a tripod or bracket. It uses flashlight batteries or a 2.4 volt adapter to power two flashlight bulbs. Slides are held in the drum by an elastic “Slide Retaining Band,” otherwise known as a rubber band. It can be tricky to load the drum, since without the band, the slides easily fall out of the downward-facing slots. I found it easiest to load while holding the drum vertically. Even then…

In 1953 the viewer with adapter cost approx. $55.
