A 4-transistor tape recorder powered by 4 AA batteries. It was also released by Craig as the TR-408 and by Channel Master as the Small Talk (Vintage Technics 2022).

It's unclear whether the tape recorder used in the Mission Impossible TV series was the MC-2 or the MC-2A. The two recorders are virtually identical.
